There are three primary methods of applying for an intervention order:
1. Family Violence Safety Notices (s. 24 FVPA)
2. App & Summons (with or w/o interim order) (s. 49 FVPA)
3. App & Warrant (s. 50 FVPA)
# FVSN
Section 31 of the FVPA provides that a FVSN is:
- An application for an IVO; and
- A summons for the RESP to attend at the first mention.
>[!NOTE] Part G of the FVSN
>Part 'G' is **not** required to list a FVSN. We can request the court list the application as an App & Summons, seeking an interim order.
>Without the Part 'G' we cannot seek a final order.
